Folks:

Here is another story on the fast breaking situation in Europe.

Notice the admonition that "few would be affected."  This ignores the problem with epidemiology studies that are naturally tilted to low risk factors in the EMF case -- because of the ubiquitous presence of EMF in our society.  There are no "unexposed" groups for comparison with "exposed" subjects.  The result is calculated risk factors that are lower than the reality......!!!!!

Also, it would be wise for all of us -- "science" included -- to look at the past record in these mass exposure public health situations. All of them -- lead, tobacco, asbestos, toxic chemicals, etc. -- were initially "downplayed" in their probable consequences!!!

In each case, as we ("science")  have progressed further up the learning curve we have had to "unlearn" our earlier predictions of how insignificant the risk to public health would be.  In every case, the adverse results have been greater than initially predicted!!!
